A Strategic Partnership: New Benefit Agency & RT Circle
In line with our mission to open global markets for Egyptian enterprises, New Benefit Agency has officially established a strategic commercial bridge with the Republic of Cyprus. This initiative was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with our Cypriot partner, RT Circle, creating a direct framework to facilitate B2B trade, investment, and labor mobility between the two nations.
The Launch Event: “Egypt to Cyprus: A Roadmap for Trade & Expansion”
On February 4, 2026, we successfully inaugurated this partnership with a high-level digital summit attended by over 80 market leaders and investors from both nations. The event capitalized on Cyprus’s EU Presidency to position the island as a gateway for Egyptian exports to Europe.
Crucially, the dialogue established a clear Call to Action, proposing the organization of reciprocal Business Delegations between Egypt and Cyprus to further promote trade and translate these strategic discussions into operational partnerships.
Diplomatic & Institutional Backing
The initiative successfully united the public and private sectors, featuring the distinguished participation of:
- Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus: Represented by Mr. Georgios Phokas (Commercial & Energy Counsellor), whose strategic insights on bilateral trade and energy cooperation set the framework for the dialogue.
- Union for the Mediterranean (UfM): Dr. Mohamed El Razzaz – Head of Sector, Economic Development & Employment.
- Larnaca Chamber of Commerce (LCCI): Mr. Lazaros Hadjiforados (VP).
- Confederation of Egyptian European Chambers (CEEBA): Dr. Alaa Ezz – Secretary General.

This milestone event marks the beginning of a sustained effort to deepen Mediterranean economic cooperation.
