New Benefit successfully organized a virtual meeting bringing together Mr. Todd Miller, Trade and Investment Commissioner at Austrade, H.E. Mr. Axel Wabenhorst, Australian Ambassador to Egypt, Mr. Moustafa Ibrahim, Chairman of the Egypt-Australia Business Council, and Ms. Naglaa Akl, CEO of New Benefit.
The meeting was held as part of New Benefit’s ongoing efforts to enhance trade and investment ties between Egypt and Australia. This initiative followed the introduction and support of the Australian Embassy in Cairo, reaffirming the shared interest in fostering deeper economic relations between both countries.
During the discussion, participants explored key Australian trade and business organizations and examined possible avenues for collaboration particularly in organizing a future Egyptian business delegation to Australia. They also discussed the importance of participating in major exhibitions held in Australia as a platform for Egyptian companies to explore opportunities, promote exports, and build direct connections with the Australian business community.
The meeting emphasized the mutual interest in developing structured and strategic cooperation through delegation exchanges, trade promotion activities, and stronger business matchmaking efforts between Egyptian and Australian companies.
